Vikrama Simhapuri University was established in 2008 in Nellore district of Andra Pradesh .It is a Public State University. VSU is primarily an undergraduate and postgraduate University. It offers courses in Arts and Science, Engineering, Management, Law and other research programmes. Nearly 125 colleges affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University has been brought under Vikrama Simhapuri University with effect from the academic year 2010-11.
