I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University-IKGPTU is established in 1997 by an Act of State Legislature in order to encourage management, technical & pharmaceutical education in the state. The university is conducting a number of courses as regular as well as distance education programmes. Currently University has 65 UGC &121 AICTE establishments affiliated to it.
